Director of Recovery Services
A veteran of the insurance claims industry, including a variety of senior executive positions at Crum & Forster Insurance Company, where he was subsequently recruited to serve as an insurance claims management consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP and thereafter, as Senior Vice President of Claims and Legal Services for Home State Holdings Inc. and the Empire Insurance Group.
Scott began his career with Subrogation Partners in January of 2000, where he helped bring several innovations to the industry making the company a national leader in the recovery field. In February of 2008, Subrogation Partners was acquired by Aon Corporation, the Global leader in providing risk management and brokerage services. With Aon Recovery, Scott provided self-insured corporations, insurance companies, and governmental agencies with a complete arsenal of risk reduction and claim cost saving solutions.
After a period as an independent recovery management consultant Scott, along with his former partner at Subrogation Partners, return to the market place with the formation of Encore Subrogation, a provider of a boutique suite of recovery services to help clients elevate their subrogation performance to the highest level.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Management from Susquehanna University and is a former member of the Board of Directors at the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
A nationally recognized expert in insurance and subrogation claims, Keith has founded several companies over the past 25-years, leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise of the legal principles, origins, and application of subrogation rights.
Early in his career Keith as a third-party administrator presided over the run-off of Commonwealth United Insurance Company for the California Insurance Department Conversation and Liquidation Division. He also presided over the run-off of Essex Insurance, Hamilton Bermuda and the run-off of and liquidation of US Capital Insurance of NY for the New York Department of Conversation and Liquidation.
In 1996 Keith founded Subrogation Partners, which became one of the leading independent subrogation recovery firms in the United States, recovering more than $500 million for over 125 clients including five State Insurance Departments.
With the most diverse clientele, Subrogation Partners handled virtually every type of property subrogation claim including – but not limited to – fire, water, mold, product liability, puff backs, construction defects, international travel insurance, healthcare and workers" compensation, transit losses, theft and even losses attributed to Acts of God. Subrogation Partners was acquired to Aon Corporation in 2008, the world’s largest insurance broker.
Keith has a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University, he has testified as an expert witness in many subrogation arbitration proceedings and is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP).
